I am a South Bay local, born and raised. I graduated from Humboldt State University with a BA in Music and I teach private piano lessons part time. I was always interested in learning more about massage and the human body, but it was only after college that I pursued an education and training at the National Holistic Institute for massage at the San Jose location.
When I visited Thailand I got my first ever "legit" massage at a 5 star resort with a professional body worker. The strength and versatility of the woman that was shorter and lighter than myself was commendable and the space I resided in for the 100 minute session so peaceful and welcoming. Ever since then, I've been trying to recreate and re-visit that sense of calm and contentment in my life back home, where the "spa brain" experience is a little more elusive.
All of my massages are clothes-on, oil-, and lotion-free. I strive to create a welcoming, calming space for guests to rest their bodies as well as their minds through supportive touch and gentle manual therapy.
